Repurposed from Risograph test print sheets that are used ensure the ink run smoothly before running the final print job. These test sheets end up getting overlayed & printed many, many times before being unusable for testing.
Our goal is to give these brave test sheets another life as the most unique & one of a kind buttons we can.

We get asked what happens to all the dead test prints and papers a lot!
This product is one of the ways we reduce waste & scraps in our shop!
We know printing generates a ton of off-cuts, misprints, scrap, dead ends, & just messed up paper. We know paper isn't cheap & it takes an environmental toll. Split Arrow Started it's Eco-Initiative to reduce thrown away material that could have multi-uses in 2017. We didn't like that our only commercial recycling solution was cardboard boxes, so we decided to take things into our own hands to do every thing we can to reuse/ repurpose/ & reduce any "trash" we have control over. We pride our selves on innovative solutions to help control wasted paper, ink, cardboard, & consumable materials our shop comes across.
These test print buttons are made from sorting through dead [too much ink to continue testing] testing sheets for anything that's interesting and so full of ink and different artists it creates its own art made from 100% machine intervention. We then choose buttons that go together by vibe and pack them up.
We hope these buttons live on as one of a kind zones of art on your book bag, purse, jean jacket, or anywhere else on display for all to see. We hope you tell people how cool they are, & how they're made!
